Purpose

The purpose of the Association was to unite private citizens who were eager to help promote and improve fire protection within the City of Cincinnati. The Association is non-political in nature and exists to provide effective support to the mission and morale of the Cincinnati Fire Administration, its officials and all members of the Cincinnati Fire Department.

The Box 13 Foundation is there to provide additional aid to the Cincinnati Fire Department (CFD). They help raise funds for such items as:

• Thermal Imaging Cameras
• Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
• Radios
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Fire Training Equipment
• EMS Training Equipment
• Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms that are distributed to those in need
• Fire Prevention & Safety Materials for distribution within our community
• Capital Infrastructure, for a new Cincinnati Fire Training Facility
• HazMat Equipment
• Homeland Security Equipment & Supplies
